We are now posting the data we are collecting on the river. Check back each day to see the new data and the new highlights!

You may want to review the Tools of the Trade to understand the methods and tools used to collect the data.

Below the current data is the data Tamara and the volunteers collected over a two week period in August 1999.

Tamara always tries to be as consistent as possible when collecting her data. She uses the same methods of observation in the same locations and generally at the same time of day. This is important when she makes comparisons over time and from one location to another. In order to answer her research questions, she will need to observe the dolphins over a long period of time.

Please note that the data below represents only partial data. The data posted does however, give an accurate representation of changes over time and location.

Area Maps

In order to make comparisons and draw conclusions, you may want to print the area maps and plot the location of the dolphins spotted along with other environmental data collected.
