Visit Our
River Dolphin Web Board
Our web board is a place where you can share
your ideas and thoughts with other students and
teachers online. We will be posting questions from
time to time and look forward to your
responses.
When you log in to our web board, you will need
to assign yourself a user name and password. (Be
sure to write your user name and password down
somewhere so you won't forget them.)
Follow the directions on the web board or
download a detailed step by step set of instructions
to log in and participate in a discussion. You will
need Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or higher to view
this file. If you need, you can download Acrobat
Reader here.
In order to keep our web board a safe and
friendly place for everyone, please follow these
guidelines:
- Log on using just your first name, or use an
alias. Or, teachers may select a class login
name that all students use (e.g., Ms. Webb's 6th
Grade).
- Do not give out any personal information on
the web board (full name, address, phone number,
appearance, school name, etc.).
- Even though the web board is anonymous, this
is a public place and everyone should use the
same manners that (s)he would use in a
face-to-face discussion.
- So that everyone will understand your
questions and answers, please observe rules of
spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Our writing audience is other students in
grades five through eight and their
teachers.
- Using all capitals on the Internet is the
equivalent of shouting. Don't do it.
